Frankenstein was played by Colin Clive.

Boris Karloff played "The Monster"

Bela Lugosi, i think,as well as playing dracula, he also played frankensteins monster. Once he played dracula on rolling basis the part was played by boris karloff

Yup, I've asked that question in many a quiz I've set and no-one gets the answer right as they all say Boris Karloff.

thats maybe cos most people (me included) thinks of frankenstein as the monster and not the doctor
