is it just me but i think he just looks joe average yet my wife wets herself if you only mention dirty dancing let alone his name so whos right please help

He was gorgeous when he made that film, still not bad now. He was incredibly sexy with those dance moves too. I think its you, your wife is correct! I could watch that film over and over just for the bit where baby takes the melons to the dancers! corrrrr! Swayze does it for me in that scene!

I dont think he's that good looking but its just the way he is in the films. Ghost does it for me as he is so sweet in it.

In my defence, i'm not wrong, just my opinion. I don't need my eyes tested jason1980, i certainly don't think i'm the only one who thought that either!

No he was one of the heartthrobs of 80's/90's no-one can say a persons opinion is wrong. You only had to say that you didnt find him atractive. If i saw him in the street I wouldnt either but there are certain situations where you see whats inside a person rather then their looks and yes its only acting but Dirty Dancing and Ghost bought those nice sides out in him. And neither plopalog or his wife are wrong. Same as Marmite its either disgusting or it isnt but you would argue about it and say the other is so wrong. Different strokes for different folks :-)

I never saw the attraction ~ didn't even like Dirty Dancing..I remember being the only one in my circle of friends who didn't fancy Patrick Swayze, so I guess I am the wrong one!
