It was a great series. I loved Jet and Lightning.Beautiful. For sheer physicality the best two gladiators were Nightshade (Heptathlete Judy Simpson) and Shadow (awesome at Duel).

I also liked the international version which had Wesley "Two Scoops" Berry as a contestant. The professional american football player could jump cars, width ways. Unbelievable.

Jet did it for me! Mr D Black, I remember him jumping cars and what I admired the most is that he did it from a standing start.

i used to watch wth hubby and kids, we liked wolf cos of his ranting and cheating, he made it funny and exciting.

Just been discovered by my 5 year on Sky Challenge - not as bad as having to watch Power Rangers continuously bit still a bit dull!

You can watch it on Challenge who are re-running it from the start. They are on series 2 at the moment. Ulrika looks older then than she does now. Fash is probably the most wooden presenter that has ever lived.
