I don't see why people are saying he shouldn't have all that money because at the end of the day he won it so he has as much right to it as we do!

Think he's spent it all now hasn't he.
yeah he won it fair and square but its just the fact that he is a total piece of sh*t!! Basically!!!!
Question Author
i totally agree with that but when i read in magazines about him they were making out he shouldn't have won it

Oh no!!!! Have I missed it?? I only saw it advertised on telly last night with Keith Allen, but didn't catch when it was on!

Please someone tell me I haven't missed it!

Sorry for taking over your thread there a bit mimi. I think what people were objecting to was the fact he was a thug and a public nusience and for him to win that money was only going to make matters worse. He turned up to receive his winnings wearing an electronic tag, turns up to court in flash cars even now for numerous different offences, so really money only changed him for the worse. He even thought it would be a nice idea one night to drive round taking pot shots at peoples cars, windows etc.. He thinks he can get away with it more now he has the money. But really at the end of the day your right, he won it fair and square...unfortunatly. :o)

opps missed out he was taking pot shots at peoples cars with a ball bearing gun.
No wingnut you haven't missed it. It's on Tuesday at 10pm on channel 4.

He has every right to the cash it's just a shame somebody more worthy of it didn't win it.

it was his quid that paid for the ticket, he has ridden on the back of the media!! they made him out to be a thug and he is so stupid/niave/immature he has gone along with it?

but this is no worse than man u getting the money off the lotteries commision is it?

Oh phew! Thanx Mandy226!

he has every right to his millions as he paid the same 1 that millions of us do every week.that said, the guy is a total waste of space who has no comprehension of what his worth now means.

i fail to see the relevance of a comparison to man utd here tho!

its not the fact he won it thats the problem-its the fact he is the true meaning of white trash!!

excuse me, but is white trash racist??

i dont know either?

anyway, the man u thing comparison.......... how can we judge a low life piece of scum having it or the 2nd richest club in the world?

no its not rascist as i am white too!! lol i just mean scummy scummy thug-is that better??

sorry sashie, i wasnt judging you on that........... i just wondered if it could be mistrewed as racism?

mistrewed, thats the 1st time i have ever used that word, i bet its spelt wrong!!

The same 'problem' occured a few years ago when someone who won several million on the Lottery, continued to buy tickets, and a few minths later, won several more millions!

The media were up in arms, saying it 'wasn't fair' which entirely misses the whole concept - by definition, a lottery is entirely fair, what ever people think of the character of any winner, or how they use their money, the abiding concept remains, it is a lottery, therefore anyone who wins it, has won by fair means.

The idea that people should be excluded because other people don't like how they spend their winnings has fortunately yet to impact on the rules.

rugeleyboy, the word you'r looking for is misconstrewed.
i'm sure it's miscontrued
IIRC, he was in prison or on parole when he bought his ticket, which is where the uproar orignated from coz people said that criminals shouldn't be able to take part - quite right, too!
