When I was a child the american tv version was broadcast over here for a little while (not they film).

Its about a 'perfect' american family. Sort of white/blue collar family as I remeber. Lots of children, mother who stayed at home baking apple by. It would be the family pulling together to sort out problems. In a way it informed the Simpsons, though without the humour & the more risky stuff. The Simpsons can be very 'moral' and so too was the Bradybunch. Did you ever see The Wonder Years? A bit like that only more childish & perfect middle america.

Watch "A Very Brady Movie" it's a) hilarious and b) gives you a pretty good idea of what the actual show was like.
