I agree but would imagine that with the amount of exposure each has had over the past weeks each one of the three will do alright out of it. Perhaps there was a little bit of sympathy towards Peter's age and time running out for him while Dean has time on his side.

I dont watch this series too often but am I right in saying that the bald guy is basically a fruit and veg seller ?

I may be wrong but how does that qualify him to judge the UK's best chef exactly?!

It's a shame, but Dean shot himself in the foot with his main course.Peter served a better (& fully cooked ) meal on the day. Can't wait to see what Dean does in the future though !

Gutted! Mainly cos I was looking forward to lusting over Dean on various cookery programmes he'd be bound to appear on had he won! But I have to agree that on the day that it mattered, Peter's main meal was better, but over the course of the series, I think Dean has proven himself to be a most talented chef so I think really, taking everything into consideration, he probably should have won as I just know he'd be the type of chef to come up with new and exciting ideas. Oh well.
Dean was most certainly robbed! It seems that all the good stuff he had done in the previous weeks counted for nothing. The food cooked on last nights programme lost it for him and I think it is an absolute travesty! Peter's rubbish sauces, non team playing etc, etc were all forgotten. He cooked well last night and pulled the title when it should have gone to Dean.
Yes I believe that Dean should have won. Peter, although he was a very good cook, had already had a successful career and Dean needed to be given a chance to be successful.

I still feel Dean should have won. He performed best overall. I would not hesitate to go to his restaurant he would have the respect of his kitchen colleagues. Peter was talented but too slow, Daksha was a one trick pony. Let us know where you are working Dean we want to give you our support... if it was a viewers vote no contest.
