I've been looking for this and I can't find any reference to Martin Jarvis and Rosalind Ayres children being famous. Is this a quiz question, could it be a trick question?

I would imagine Englishbird is right. I'm sure many of us tried google, imdb and even wikipedia. Jarvis and Ayres are mentioned as having two children but neither is named on these sites.

If Englishbird and Lorcan are right and it is indeed a quiz question. The answer could be William Brown. The main character from the Just William stories. Martin Jarvis has long been associated with this Characterthrough Audio books etc.

At the end of all his dramatisations of the Just William books the continuity announcer says "That was a Jarvis and Ayres production for the BBC". So William Brown sounds a good bet.
