David Essex quits Enders!

He's quit before it even gets aired! Nicky Henson has been cast in the role after David quit after just a month of filming! I really dislike Nicky Henson, he was a no talent playboy type who was always guesting on naff quizz shows or naff sit coms.

Hi dot. Just a guess, but are you a David Essex fan by any chance? Did he actually film any stuff then? I read that when he signed up it was only for a short period but then the producers decided to extend the part so he couldn't/wouldn't do it. Oh well. I'm finding lately I'm not bothered if I miss an ep or 3 now. It's just not 'must watch' telly anymore.

Fatcat, you can always catch up with the episodes on the BBC soaps website - I hardly watch any TV now and even catch up with the Archers on the 'puter!
