I've seen a rather stunning portrait of Rabindarath Tagore by a 'S.K. Hesh.'

Someone of whom I've never heard. But when I've tried to find out more on him I've drawn a blank, unfortunately there seems to be some headphones by the same name.

Does any one know how to make better search please?

Corby, What a fascinating story. I don't know if you have read it or if you are even interested. I've printed it out, (6 sheets double sided.)

I'm grateful to you for finding that. There's a biography somewhere there waiting to be written. 

I'd never heard of him before seeing that portrait in a review of a new book called The Penguin Book of Bengali Short Stories this morning in which other than the portrait itself Hesh isn't mentioned at all.

There's a lot of detail about him and I see he was in Munich for a period so youmay well get more information about him locally.
