Don't choose a TV by price first...screen size is the first thing to think about.

The "best" makes are LG and Samsung (far more Which? Best Buys than all other makes put together)...also Panasonic and Sony.

i stand with Dave - Sony and Samsung. 

Are you using it for just regular tv?, are you a gamer etc?
