We currently use Virgin Media boxes that can record 6 channels at the same time.

Is there an equivalent Freeview PVR? I can't find one and PVRs are going out of favour

6 channels at once? I've not even watched 6 programmes on TV so far this year!

Thanks Buen, I think Humax is probably the best of the bunch, I've certainly recommend the brand here.

I suspect you are right and 4 tuners is the max. I was hoping the TiVo box would be rebadged and had the software for Freeview.
