I think Catherine could find where Tommy is with the grandson and shoot him or whack him in the head and kill him (somehow)
I am sooo looking forward to tonights finale
Ryan will save his Grandma from being killed by Tommy possibly.
I think Neil (the rather gormless, weak partner of Catherine's sister) will turn out to be Tommy's father - something about the scene in the prison made me think that.

Clare to save the day and be reconciled with Catherine!

I think a major character plus TLR will die.

I think Ryan may be up to something.

Neil is a bit of a mystery - an ex addict so possibly knew Darius and Marcus. There are rumours that he is TLR's dad. How did TLR get Ryan's gaming name?

Alison may end up being involved - her character seems to have a big part. She said last week "if there is anything I can do for you....."
Ryan asked Tommy how he got his gaming name and he replied 'you told me it'.

Yes, I think Alison has to be involved or why else would she even be in this series. Why was there that short scene with her fixing Catherine's LandRover?
I hope Naomi or any other new watchers aren't peeping in to this thread.!
I think some one will kill JR

Ok ok im going !!!
I like the theory of Neil being TL's dad - I hadn't considered that. What about the chemist, the teacher and the wife in the suitcase? is that connected or just her 'police work' story
Just thinking about Sarah Lancaster in Corrie all those years ago. A really dizzy blonde! Who would ever suspect she would go on to be one of our best actors ever.
Question Author
Not sure about the dodgy chemist. I think the little girl, Poppy may be important too.

That is what put me off 7 or 8 years ago, Miss T. But she's played an absolute blinder.

.....and why does she never take her coat off?
In the final scene, the grandson will save his granny from his father .
^^ Poppy, that is
Fabulous series!! It was only last night that I realised that Sarah and Siobhan, who play sisters Catherine & Clare, also played together years ago in Clocking Off,as Yvonne and Julie.
great theories given, more for me to think about for the evening :)
I had considered listening to the podcast but decided against it as I knew it would cram my head and confuse me haha

Enjoy tonight's finale, I'm off to do bits and bobs :) Bank holiday here :)
Catherine & Tommy will finally realise they love each other, they'll live happily ever after in wedded bliss and Ryan will be the best man at the wedding.
In the Saturday Times tv guide there is a two page spread about Happy Valley. It says five different endings have been filmed so the climax is secret.
I too considered Neil being the dad. Too many possible endings for my brain to cope with, but feel sure whichever one they choose to screen (whether I agree or not!) will be a fitting end to one of the best programmes I've ever seen.
