So I binged the whole series over the last few days and it was brilliant. And very close to the true story. There has to be at least another season to play out the rest of her life.

I have no interest in watching because obviously we know her fate and I've no desire to watch the terror that surely she suffered as she realised her fate. Can you imagine the horror of getting guillotined in public at 38 years old. Just not my idea of entertainment.

I get where you're coming from, Prudie. I've read books on her life and that of her youngest son and both had me in tears. Whenever I see historical scenes depicting executions my heart races as I know they happened for real. The Tudors, Wolf Hall etc. Terrifying.
