Loved the song BS

I’ve recorded it to watch later. I remember seeing it when it first came out and fell in love with William Holden! I was 15.

Well that's me a total flippin' wreck, I forgot how tearjerking the ending really is !

Thanks for the song Bobbs. Going to listen to it now.
Lots of people recorded it 'cos it's a great song.
I can't remember seeing the film, wish I had known it was on. :-(
I seem to think the song was popular (on early juke boxes) about the same time as Jimmy Young's Unchained Melody.
Must have been a soppy era! No wonder they invented R&R.

Barsel, it's on again at 13.10 p.m. on Friday on Talking Pictures.
What was the name of the one with Deborah Kerr and Burt Lancaster (probably) where they were lying on the beach kissing?
Oh thanks Shirley, I'll go and record it.
From here to eternity

Get plenty of tissues ready !
Thanks for that Mamya, I'm glad it's in colour.
From here To Eternity, yes that's the one I was thinking of.
Thanks Mamya.

Oh dear, I don't like sad endings.
Question Author
Well be warned, this is VERY sad !

Still a beautiful film though and not real ....
//where they were lying on the beach kissing?//

I think the implication was they were doing a bit more than kissing!!!!
