The adult quiz is (in my humble opinion) dead easy this week. I knew the first six answers and I would have guessed the last one correctly if I'd not thought that there might be a bit of a catch to the question, which there wasn't. So that's SIX out of seven for me:

With THREE out of five for me in the junior quiz

I'm feeling quite pleased overall - although I'm still kicking myself for not achieving a double maximum this week, which I think is achievable. Perhaps you'll do it though?

Adult 7/7
Child 4/5
Must have paid more attention this week than I thought!
Another 6 and 5!

And, like you Chris, gutted to have missed out on a double maximum ...
I am 'playing with my postcards' and not reading the questions properly - my excuse.

2/7 and 1/7

So near, and yet so far, Helen and Ellipsis!

Well done on those really good scores anyway!

Excuses, excuses, Susan!

I hope that the postcard pricing (and their subsequent sale) goes well anyway ;-)
Five and three for me. Thanks Buenchico.
Well done Chris. A more modest 5 this week for me.

Some good scores this week, I see!

Well done with those scores of 5, Cashier and David!
5/7 I wavered on the Lily Cole question bacause I didn't think she would be so stupid but got it right in the end.
1 :-(
5/7 Snakes and ladders
3/5 Good effort. You've been taking notice this week
4/7

4/5
Double 3 for me this week
I blame it on my trip to Cardiff for a two day family event to celebrate my fourscore years.
Flowers, chocolates champagne, a trip to St Fagans for a picnic lunch and the granddaughters loved the tree top adventure, lots of banter and catching up and a grand finale at Pizza Hut! (younger members' choice). It was just like old times

Pay attention, Theland!
- and better luck next week mate ;-)

Well done with those scores of 5, 237SJ and Sharon!

Mamya appears to be slightly more childlike than grown up this week ;-)
ps. Shady was pleased to see me - so win win this week

Double 3 is 'passable', anyway, Haras2 ;-)

Fourscore years? You're the baby among us, I think! I'm glad you had a lovely time anyway (and I hope that Shady got to join in the celebrations!).

I had a nice day out yesterday, visiting Beccles and Bungay (on the Norfolk/Suffolk border) with my friend who's visiting from Italy. I'd like to go out with her on a few more trip during her stay but, alas, the hospital won't let me. I've got to stick to strict social distancing, meaning that I can't share a car with anyone, for the next fortnight, as I've got a very minor op coming up. The thought of the op isn't bothering me at all but I feel frustrated that I can't go out with my friend and that I won't be able to see my lad on his birthday on Bank Holiday Monday :(
Evening Chris.

3/7

4/5 (Should've got 5/5)

^^^ Crossed posts. I'm pleased that Shady is still friends with you. Moonbeam is avoiding me at the moment, as I keep trying (without the slightest hint of success) to get some flea treatment onto the back of his neck. He always has far more problem with fleas tan his siblings do but he's also the one who it's hardest to catch!

Good evening, Sam.

I see that you're more of a kid than a grown-up this week ;-)
Usually when Chris says it's an easy quiz, I fail miserably at it. Just for once though, I'm in complete agreement. 7/7.

The less said about the 2/5 on the kiddy quiz though, the better.
