Well, yesterday it was absolutely persisting down here all day till tea time. And I was mad enough to be out trying to play golf in it. Note the word trying. Very!
But today people, tis glorious sunshine at the moment. I always try to cover up as much as I can on hot days. Sunshine and me don't go together! It's
v-e-r-y bad for you!

Prudie I've been all over the UK but never in the West Country , I must do it sometime, I seem to have stopped at the I.o.W for some reason

I realise that emmie and on days like this, I just go about things as normal. Definitely no sunbathing or sitting in the garden. If I'm playing golf in fine weather, I wear a long sleeved shirt. I just don't do sunshine thank you and I have no health problems. None. At all. Not bad for someone who is 72 on Wednesday! I'll have another treble whiskey please!

Some people are like that, my grandson has very black hair and the type of skin that tans very easy but he doesn't like the sun either

I doubt I'll even put a toe outdoors today. OH and his dad are working on the new guttering all day and I'll be stuck in front of the telly.
