why risk losing a life-just dont answer
then in the final is there any point in going for one or two counters. today contestant got the first three questions wrong and still only went two counters on the fourth question

Yes. If you think it'll take a few counters to get something to drop you hope others waste theirs doing so.

If you feel unable to answer a 3 counter difficulty question and hope to get a 2 counter one.
