I missed the last series on BBC, but there are re-runs on the Drama channel. I watched one last week that was a complete joke and totally unbelievable. It started with a 13 yr old boy running barefoot through some trees and he had no trousers on. Someone was shouting his name as he ran. He was being followed by his friend, who was also apparently running from the same person. His friend had all his clothes on. The first boy ran towards a fast-flowing river, with nowhere else to run. He hesitated, then decided his only option to escape was to swim for it. As he did so, his friend reached the river and looked in terror behind him. Cut to the opening credits. When the story resumed, the first boy was being fished out of the river, dead. His friend was nowhere to be seen and had gone missing. It seemed like an interesting plot but was spoiled right at the end by a stupid and ridiculous ending. If the BBC are planning another series, I hope they come up with better storylines than that one.

Do tell how it ended. I would really like to know.

Tilly, I didn't mention the ending in case anyone wanted to watch that episode. But here is a spoiler. The dead boy was being chased by his friend, who was not a boy, but a 28 yr old man. Can you believe that? He'd been going to lessons for quite some time and had a record for molesting boys. What?!! A 28 yr old man posing as a 14yr old?! Come on! It's akin to that episode of Fools and Horses where Rodney posed as a 14 yr old so they could win a holiday in Spain. Totally ridiculous!
I'm prepared to stick with it for as long as Emilia's there.
