I like the ad but, with the standards of literacy these days, I wonder how many people watching it don't actually recognise that the copywriter on the advertising agency's creative team was a certain C. Dickens?
Depends if they've read the publicity around the campaign, there is more than one Ad.

I do like that one though.
I have to be honest though. That's probably the only quotation from 'A Tale of Two Cities' that I'd recognise ;-)
It would have been nice to give credit, even though it's in the public domain. Ad agencies, eh? Run by ME-ME millennials.

Of course that would reference the past, which doesn't exist in the minds of some, and is being dismantled in the public domain by others of the same ilk.

Cute ad though.
Recalling the first paragraph of The Tale of Two Cities it is obvious that Dickens knew about Brexit 160 years ago !

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way - in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only. "
Is that what the ad is for? I find it so boring I've never watched the end!
Surely not buen? You'd recognise "it is a far far better thing.....".

Love that book.
I think it's a decent campaign.

//As part of this “Beyond Limits” drive, BT is promising to train millions of schoolchildren and tens of thousands of teachers in how to code and other tech skills.

This is intended to give the campaign authenticity: actions to support its words.//
