Top marks to The Archers for the way they handled Joe's death. The way they involved the cider pressing was genius.
It's not often that the Archers brings a tear to my eye!

Quite moving wasn't it. I wonder if he had an insurance policy and the Grundy clan will end up quids in, maybe enough to buy the farm from Oliver!

I agree, Mexican. The writing and acting was most sensitive and respectful. Considering Edward Kelsey died on 24th April there was no rush to see Joe Grundy off The Archers.
