Anyone see it last night. Did I miss something or were there huge chunks of the story missing?

I agree - I don't think it told us much new, apart from - shock horror, they had sex and took drugs. It was very geared toward Robbie, I understand that he is the biggest star and all that, but it was all a bit obvious. And I thought the producers were very manipulative in the way they didn't tell the other 4 that Robbie wasn't coming to the reunion, can't think they would have treated Robbie the same way. I always thought Howard and Mark were nice blokes, Jason was insecure and unsure of himself, Robbie was charismatic but unbalanced, and Gary was steady, knew who he was, but was unimaginative. I still think the same thing. Having said all that, I did enjoy watching it, and am sure the viewing figures were huge. Won't do their record sales any harm either.
I cried like I did when I heard they were splitting up - just shows you - they may have loads of money but are just as vulnerable as the rest of us! Wish Robbie had attended the get together!

I thought Robbie and Gary both came out of it really well. They are both honest about their mistakes and I think it's a shame they can't kiss and make up as I think they could be good friends. But how bitter is Mark Owen about Robbie's success? Did you see his lip curl when Robbie was sending him a message?

Take That members at the reunion were all fine about Robbie apart from Gary Barlow. Did you see Gary's face drop when he was faced with questions about Robbie's solo success ? Also Gary's blank expressions when he saw the video messege from Robbie ? I still think both Robbie and Gary still can't stand eachother.

I personally think Gary is more talented then Rob as he writes, composes and produces music. Only bad luck brought him down as he embarked on a solo career. He was too hyped up as being "the next George Michael" and he took it literally in many ways - such as recording George Michael type ballads, working with Michael's production team and cracking America first handedly. Aswell as all this he was constantly under Robbie's shadow.

Robbie on the other hand beat fellow Gary not only by his diversity in music, but bringing in his own "crazy" flamboyance nature to the media. He was instantly popular and he went to to become a major star.

But look at how all the ex-take that members are living ? Howard bringing up his daughter and spending life as a DJ for clubs all the way in Germany, Mark still write and produces music (i think he is better then all the rest in terms of solo work - unfortunately underrated, needs more recognition), Jason's a complete loner and cunfused (I think he is gay), Robbie obviously one of the biggest UK artists - despite his success, i bet his a loner too. But Mr Gary Balow is the only one living a quality life in a luxerious mansion with wife and kids earning far more then Robbie by writing/producing/composing for new chart topping acts such as Blue and Charlotte Church. So really, Gary's the man.

i think trying to fit the whole story from 5 people (6 inc. manager) into an hour and a half was a bit daft - how can you possibly get enough in? thats about 15mins each! less if you count all the stuff from friends and family and the gumf from the crying fans!! add to that all the rolling shots of hills and mansions and we are down to about 9 mins each!!
