As he's been a group dancer and a stand in I don't think it's so unusual - hopefully he will get a look in soon.

Nobody has been given a celeb partner yet, it's far too early. He's not the only professional dancer that has been kept in reserve, there will always be extras in case of illness or injury.
Nowt to do with his hair colour.

I am suprised that both he and his wife will be in this year's show.

He's just a stand-in isn't he? No doubt he's paid well for almost doing nothing, rather like a footballer who is continuously on the bench without ever getting more than a few minutes play time.

He has choreographed a lot of the dances in previous series, Ken, and of course he would be restricted in taking other work for the 4 months of recording.

They have announced all the professionals but not who will have celeb partners so he is still in with a chance. Fifteen celebs and seventeen pros plus one yet to be named.

I really hope Anton is passed up this year - dreadful choreographer, hopeless at Latin and he has a nasty mean streak that he tries to disguise with smarm. He makes my skin crawl.
