I watched this tonight. I thought it was very funny.

"We've found out who your mum was. She was a single mother who worked in clubs and bars. She had 9 other kids and looked after them but abandoned you at birth. She died 6 years ago. What do you think about that?"

Wow! That's just what I wanted to know!

*Titterfarkle*!! :o))

I found it tragic & heartbreaking.... not funny at all x
You really found that funny? Weird sense of humour!
Tinks...was it a repeat do you know?

Yep. And there's more to come next week folks!

I just love this web site!
I just don't understand what you find funny? Is it because she had nine kids? Or because she worked in bars? Or that the mother had died?

Feel free to explain...
Wow what a donkey pit as Douglas would say :(
Gosh, 10C...what a dreadful and cruel post.

I'm free to do what I want!

It seemed a bit Pythonesque to me. Tune in next time for more irony.

And now you see why you shouldn't get involved with DNA kits. You never know who might turn up at your door.
Of course you are free to do what you want, as you put it...but why do you want to advertise to the world that you're not a nice person?
gness - first line of management - critisise the behaviour but not the person
People can really go down in one's expectation , hard to think this is the same person who posts so movingly about lost family and sad but fond remembrances.
Yes I can see how the programme was supposed to be set up to reunite people and make everyone have the ahhh factor and this one has blown up spectacularly in their face, but is there a reason to rejoice gleefully over someone's emotional misery?
The person must feel devastated and their mother whatever you might think most likely did the best thing she knew how to do, most people don't set out to deliberately mess things up, so have a bit of heart eh, these are real people?
But you aren't free to do what you want!
237...that's a cliche that makes very little sense.
It's not a cliche. It is fair to critisise the behaviour but not the person. You don't know the person
Are you sure about that, 237?
Yes. In my management role when I give feedback, I can critisise the behaviour but not the person. I would have thought that was a given..
Yes...in work roles, I agree, but otherwise not. You could really dislike someone at work but if they are really good at their job...

You wouldn't judge an abusive spouse per action, you'd judge them as a person! Some people really show their true colours on here. I'm judging Clarion on this post, which I think is in bad taste, I wouldn't judge him on his next post though, or try not to at least.
I don't think you can judge anyone on here or anywhere else. Somebody can be charm itself but be a complete pycho elsewhere. I have learned (and I`m not necessarily talking about anyone on AB) after decades of working with the public that surface charm means nothing.
I know that. I was brought up in a pub!! I learnt from a young age that some people are not what they seem. Some people come across as lovely but it's further from the truth. Some appear to be nutters but they'd risk their life to save a kitten.

But when someone on sites like this are constantly sniping and stirring, you kinda understand their personality. They might be keyboard warriors or fantasists but it's still a personality defect, imo.
