She said "We've been sent good weather." That's what is sounded like to me, anyway.

In tonight's episode, at the end when she left the house and stood outside the gates, what was she saying? I couldn't understand a word.
Question Author
Is no one else watching this?
I don't watch it naomi, sorry. I bet someone will be along soon.
Question Author
I hope so. Nice to see you, hereIam. Like a ghost town around here! ;o)
I know, isn't AB changing? Another one bites the dust as well today.
Is this a dramatisation of the book or a sequel? I see it’s in its second series
I, Naomi, Just for you, found it on All4, whizzed along to the last couple of minutes and listened to what she was saying. Thing is I couldn't make it out either. Sorreee;-)
One of my pet peeves is indistinct speech in tv/films.

Is there a subtitle option available on all4?
Question Author
ichkeria, it’s the dramatisation of the book. I’ve no idea how many series it will take to tell the story, but this is the second.

Ladybirder, ahh, How kind. Thank you so much for trying. Isn’t it frustrating when they mumble! I know she must have been saying something significant.
Question Author
Alba, //Is there a subtitle option available on all4? //

I've just had a look but I can't see anything. Maybe someone more technically minded than me might be kind enough to try. I could well be missing it.
naomi, me too :-(

Also tried Youtube - purely on the basis of 'iif you don't ask' etc
unfortunately, nothing there yet.

I do hope someone can help.
I think I caught one word, it was either "weather" or "whether", but I'm not sure LOL. Oh dear, think I'll shut up:-(

Hi hIa, who's bit the dust today then?
Question Author
I've just had a brainwave! (Hurrah, they cried!). I could re-run it on my television and enable subtitles! Alba, you're brilliant! I'll give that a try and get back to you.
She said "We've been sent good weather."

Thanks Naomi. The book’s not that long!

I agree that indistinct speech is very frustrating. I stopped watching the ‘Nazi Britain’ Len Deighton(?) thing some while ago as I simply couldn’t hear!
I wouldn't say brilliant, just glad to help if I can :-))

I like mysteries to be solved.
(talking of which - must have a look to see if Donny found out what his gadget was)
Thank YOU for reminding me in a roundabout way lol
Question Author
Alba, it didn't work. :o(

Cloverjo, oh really? Wonder what that might mean? Any idea?
Question Author
Yes, I must look in to see if the mystery of the gadget has been solved too, alba. Thank YOU for reminding me!
drat and botheration :-(

If you fancy starting a petition to the production company (or whoever) about indistinct mutterings, I'll gladly sign it.

Was it Offred or Serena who left the house?
(didn't watch it unfortunately)
Question Author
Offred.
