Not just me then Eddie,I'm 78 by the way, hence no Licence to pay.
The BBC (just like any other broadcaster) commissions a variety of programmes to appeal to as many different people as possible. You really can't expect every programme to appeal to you....I don't think that a programme called "The Young Offenders" (with the synopsis given in listings magazines) was ever meant to appeal to a "mature" viewer aged 78!

So F"N and C"N is acceptable comedy? OK. Why the "Mature" comment,I seem to remember trouble with you before, just deliberately trying to be clever, but not succeeding.
Offensive words have been used in tv comedy for many years, some people find it offensive and switch off, others don't mind it.
I caught the tail end of it. Didn't think that much of it but it was okish. Not really surprising that a programme called "Young Offenders" might offend some.
I liked it, thought it was very funny. The languag didn't really bother me tbh.
