Were you present at a famous event? They asked this last week on the radio. I was present at the last ever night time launch of the Space Shuttle. It was 8 p.m., Nov 2008. We watched the shuttle Endeavor from the Tiki Bar on Coco Beach. An awesome, fantastic experience. I don't think people realize just how huge the shuttle was. The flame from the engines lit up the area for miles around. Brilliant. And my grandchildren were there too!
