Read in yesterdays paper about some "celeb" women upset about nude pics being hacked/pinched.

They would be more upset if they had not been I suspect.

Cannot stand that Nicole sh1isl1nger

You think it's ok to hack, steal and re-post others private pics?
Question Author
The price of being desperate of being in the public eye, I am sure they welcome the free publicity.
Such an awkward name to spell too.
Question Author
Any paper, any day, misguided female celebs hardly dressed, I have no doubt these leaks are staged.
I suppose your viewpoint depends upon whether you yourself are prone to nicking photos (posted with the expectation of them being respected) or not.......?
some are, some aren't. I work for a paper who are literally paying the price under the "some aren't staged" category....
Question Author
I simply question the motives of those objecting.
I wouldn't say most leaks are staged. Many photos ops are staged, pretending they have no idea that the paps are around while frolicking in sea in full make up.

Hacking is different.
All of them?
No. You are superimposing your own thoughts on the matter, you have nothing upon which to base them other than your own general misanthropy.
Question Author
I would say that a fair number are pleased to see a bit of extra publicity.

Did you see that cat suit worn by mel-b ?
Question Author
I am sure I read that Amanda Holden has insured her nipples.

Nothing to do with the topic but it does make you think how they like to keep in the public eye

What do you think of those doing the hacking/pinching?
Question Author
Possibly hacked/pinched by a member of their PR team
In that case it wouldn't be hacked or pinched.

I think you need to differentiate between "PR", "theft" and "hacking". It's not good to conflate them.
Question Author
"conflate"

What a lovely word, I shall try and slip it into my next conversation once I have found out what it means.
And some of these 'so called' celebs are actually celebs...
conflate: combine (two or more sets of information, texts, ideas, etc.) into one

The perfect word for the situation, therefore I used it.
Question Author
"celebs" is a much maligned description.

I have never heard of many on "celeb" quiz shows and the like,

I saw recently on a brief excursion into BB household a failed candidate from The Apprentice.
Question Author
I thought I was distinguishing not combining, hey ho, what do I know.
