I want to download a one-hour programme off the Radio 2 website. However, it is only available for another 48 hours, and I won't have time to listen to it before then. I can't seem to download it, only play it. Is there a solution to this?

I have never done this, but I believe it can be done. A friend of mine has some software to do it, but I cannot remember the name of it.

I have had a search in Google and found this site, so not sure if you can find the answer there

I think basically you set "record" on the software, listen to the show, and it saves it on your hard disk.

You could do the old fashioned way - play it and put a tape recorder up against your speakers and leave it recording while you are out.

you can buy C120s from most record shops, which gives an hour on each side so should be enough.

put a towel over the recorder and speakers to lessen and hiss. you'd be surprised how clear the sound is

if you'll be out a long time set your computer to go onto standby or hibernate after an hour.
