I'm looking for a very particular verrsion of this song (nightmare!) I heard it once and fell in love with it. It was a really simple tune, there weren't a lot of background instruments. The tune was quite fast, not like these warblers that you hear ALL the time! It was a woman singing and she had quite a breathy sort of voice. It was sung really simply. I heard someone say that the woman was in fact a young girl when she sang it? ANY ideas would be appreciated!!!!!!! Thanks

Eva Cassidy did a brilliant version of this song.

Check out here to hear a sample of Eva Cassidy.

Eva Cassidy's is very good, but have you heard Israel Kamakawiwo'oles' version, its lovely, you may have heard it as incidental music on TV & adverts.

the artist you could be israel kamakawiwu (soundtrack 50 first dates) or similar arrangement by a female singer called aselin debison   hopes this helps
