On early evidence this doesn't look any better than the turn off which was Channel 4's coverage. If the ITV bosses think rent-a-gob Matt Chapman is a good man to have around then they definitely need to think again.

The one day coverage by Racing UK, free, yesterday was grand. No garbage just the races and proper replays and analysis. Have not yet looked in on ITV, I am watching the footie whilst knocking up a beef dinner.(aided by a glass of electric soup). Plus I had 2 nice little winners yesterday. :))
Bring back Channel 4 racing! Far too much meaningless drivel during races on ITV - stop analysing and start calling the positions. They really like the sound of their own voices.
I notice in my TV magazine that there isn't any horse racing at all on ITV's main channel next Saturday. In fact the racing will not be on the channel again until the Cheltenham Festival in March. In the meantime it's being relegated to ITV4.

That proves how committed they are to it.
Even his co presenter just told him to 'concentrate on the racing Matt'
Lankeela, yes that was funny!
I preferred it to anything C4 racing has served up these past 4 years, I don't know why they need Victoria 'I rode a horse once' Pendleton on there or the dull AP McCoy.
The opening titles were a bit long winded. Showing posters for 'National Hunt' then horses coming out of stalls?????? I recorded it glad I can fast forward.
