They seem like a nice bunch of people, all friendly with each other up to now, hope we get some arguments.

The footballer looks very vulnerable, he's had a a little cry already.

If you dont like, or watch the show, you dont have to comment.

trt...I suppose andy's answer could be.."but the creatures don't know any better"?
Gosh there is so much sniping on here you can hardly follow the thread at all.
Makes you want to not bother frankly.
jd, yes indeed it's when they all start falling out that it get's interesting :)
trt - // As it is my post, I am going to step in, and ask if we could keep to the Question I asked, if that's OK? //

Absolutely - as I have advised, I am more than happy to discuss the programme, I am not willing to help to derail the thread by getting involved in side-line trolling from the usual suspects.

//But I feel I must reply to Andy's comment about cruelty to animals, and that is, I dont think a Mosquito give a sh-te whether its going to give you Malaria when it bites, or a snake if it poisons you, or cockroaches & flies that carry all-sorts of diseases, and lastly Kangaroos, who will break your neck, or give you a nasty knock to your knackers! //

All the animals and insects mentioned act on instinct, and have no concept of inflicting harm, or being motivated by malice.

In my view, their behaviour does not merit humans, supposedly higher orders - to consciously inflict pain and suffering on them for the entertainment of other humans.

As I have opined, I believe it is morally wrong to behave in this fashion, and of course anyone is entirely free to argue the point if they wish.

What they are not entitled to do is be personally disrespectful or rude, which contravenes the Site Rules, and runs the risk of the thread being deleted.
oh fgs
I'm sorry Andy but I beg to disagree it was you who derailed the thread in the first place. You seem to have a great interest in something you say you don't watch.
TRT - why not start a new thread in the hopes it won't get derailed.
But that's just it, Andy. We don't come on this thread to "argue" any, point. We came on here to give our opinions about the personalities in the programme.

End of.
Yup, there it is.
Margotester - I made a one-line observation right at the beginning od the discussion, I would hardly call that 'derailing'!

If anyone wants to debate or ignore my point, that's fine, that's how AB works.

The trolling that has come in is clear to see, and I have avoided being involved in it.

You can accuse individuals on this thread of de-railing it, but I am not one of them.
I am an occasional Answerbank user - Get Me Out Of Here...!!!
chrissa1 - please see my response to Margotester.

Threads develop as they develop - often additional points are raised and debated, stimulated either by the original point, or points made afterwards.

It is not for anyone to dictate the nature or subject of anyone's responses.
Could we start a new thread please trt?
chelle7272 - There is no need to start a new thread - people are busy discussing this one - what would be the point of starting another one?

But if you feel that is necessary - then you of course could start the thread yourself - see you there!

I like Larry Lamb .....and Scarlett.
I think you should have stayed off the thread, andy, as your observation had nothing to do with the question.
Me too Mamya. Scarlett can be very funny and I really liked Larry Lamb in New Tricks ;-)
I agree that threads develop.

I am yet to see a rule that says the OP can control how the post develops. Often the original question is debated, it's natural for posts (especially when they get to 6 pages long) to slightly digress

In this instance the OP states "If you dont like, or watch the show, you dont have to comment" - however, there wasn't a question asked in the first place.

// Hope we get some arguments// - wish granted!!
-- answer removed --
//But if you feel that is necessary - then you of course could start the thread yourself - see you there!//

No need to be facetious.
