Hi all,

I won't go into too much detail but I am at the beginning of the process of applying for an Interdict against my ex partner due to ongoing violence. So far my solicitor has taken statements.

I was just wondering if anyone has been through the same? If so, what happened? It has been mentioned their will be court hearings involved. I am just curious as it appears it could be quite a lengthy process and am unsure what to expect.

Thanks.

I'm guessing that you're in Scotland because, to the best of my knowledge, the English legal system doesn't use the term 'interdict'.
