We do actually buy a fair amount from amazon (big stuff like dog food) but atm i get them as subscribe and save, meaning 15% off, so i'll prob just carry on with that for as long as poss. Now we are not using nappies and wipes i c cant get them on subscribe and save any more
Probably unsurprisingly, it seems to be only expensive brands that are available through the system.
45 toilet rolls would cost me £7.43 at Asda (based upon actually buying 12 rolls for £1.98 and, as I normally do, getting their 'Smart Price' ones). 45 Andrex rolls ('cos that's the smallest quantity you can buy with the press of a button) would cost me £17.50. So that's an extra tenner just on one purchase.
Unlike Bednobs, I can't see any great benefit in the system but perhaps that's because:
(a) I live alone and therefore don't buy items in large quantities ; and
(b) I'm an impecunious skinflint anyway.
