favourite film you've seen this year

My favourite was "Kung Fu Hustle", a Hong Kong film. (Second place: "School of Rock")

Seen loads but not any that stand out, looking forward to Serenity next week though, Firefly is excellent, we've got the dvd set, but if the film is good, there is hope for more Joss Weedon films.

"Hotel Rwanda" - heart-breaking stuff. "Serenity" comes a close second.

Crash is good if you like hard-hitting drama.  Sin City is great, as is Batman Begins.

Serenity isn';t out in uk til next weekend

They did a bunch of advance screenings for "Serenity" on the 20th of September, and one of them was (thank God!) close to where I live.

(Sin City and Batman were great too, btw!)

Was School of Rock so bad? I thought it was great. Anyway, you're right, I didn't see many films this year
