Isn't the Ross show just Ross talkin and guests noddin their heads and squirming in embarassment? And isn't Skinner just a grinning bloke from somewhere near Birmingham?  Not much between them really.

Has to be Jonathan Ross...cos I secretly fancy him! I watched Frank Skinner the other night, but can't decide whether it's any good or not.  What were those girls dancing at the end, and before and after the ad breaks all about?! That seemed weird to me!

I know! They're like a new version of Pans People. Totally unnecessary. Ross was good when he started but now he sucks up too much to his guests. I think Skinner has the edge because even though he takes the pee a lot he has a way of asking direct questions which somehow don't offend his guests too much. But then again the shows are only as good as the guests they have on.

Neither are real chat shows; they are basically vehicles for the hosts' comedic(?) patter using invited guests as their foil/inspiration to keep the spiel fresh.

Friday night with Jonathan Ross! Although the musical guests who play at the end of the show, are often unheard of.

I like Jonathan Ross because he is very genuine, and witty. I enjoy Frank Skinner's wit, but I can't get past his accent, and the fact that none of his clothes ever fit him - who dresses him for heaven's sake!

Ross, partly because Skinner acts like he should be on some sort of register where he has to sign in at the nearest police station every week.

Plus Ross' radio show is excellent, too.

I'd cast a vote for Frank. His comedy, I feel, makes him less guest reliant. Whereas FS is must-see TV for me, I check JR's guestlist in the paper and only watch for the guests I like.

Jonathan Ross, no questions, Skinner thinks himself too funny when he's not - and the hair needs sorting!

jr for me ,he is a bit crude at times but he is funny .skinner is not in the least bit funny.still each to his/her own.
