It all came out in the wash.

I'm sad to see it go. :-(

So am I.

I cried!
Question Author
Just Rocky and I then?
Looks like it Tilly.

I suppose I could get excited about Mr Selfridge coming back next week, but I've still got all of the last series sitting on the Sky box unwatched.
Question Author
I didn't watch Mr Selfridge, Rocky. Was it as good as Downton?
Nah, not even close. But, not a bad effort for a costume drama.
Mr M loved it, I enjoyed it but couldn't help thinking of the pantomime where everyone gets married in the end. A big finale with a feelgood factor and a warm cosy feeling! Well acted but a bit sugary for anytime other than Christmas.
Downton was not good.
It was bad.
Very bad.
If they revive it, I will shoot it dead.
Question Author
It was very contrived and predictable but all the lose ends had to be tied, I suppose.

I felt just as bereft when E.R. finished. I still miss that.

I think Anna missed her vocation. Could have been a top hair stylist!

Did you not appreciate Maggie Smith's contribution, Shoota?
Question Author
How do you think Mr Bates would have reacted to Mr Whatsit becoming the butler?

....and what is the modern day equivalent to Mr Carson's 'palsy'?
She did the best she could with a poor, staccato script.
I avoided it as much as possible but what little I saw had me tearing my hair out.
I thought Maggie Smith was probably the most predictable of all. I appreciated the performances of the actors who played Daisy the kitchen maid, and Lady Edith the most. They had depth and character.
D T's from drinking all the leftover booze;-)
Question Author
Maggie Smith made me laugh out loud. Her delivery of the ' poor, staccato script' was impeccable.
Question Author
Thanks, Margo. I did wonder.
You cannot turn a sow's ear into a silk purse...
Question Author
You can try though, Shoota.

Let's agree to disagree. I liked it, you didn't. It doesn't matter. I shall still miss it.
