Thank goodness for your responses. Here's me thinking that I was the only person who couldn't stand this programme.

Watched the very first episode then stopped, drove me mad.
pips1: Ditto! I like Sue Perkins but only on panel shows. She's too much for her very own show. Sarah Millican is on a fine line as well, I have a soft spot for her though :)
rubbish

Two of the most irritating females on TV imo!
They seem to want to outdo each other with their witty ripostes, all the time. It's not for me.
No, I don't watch -- I assume programmes like this will be rubbish.
^^^^well, of course, one person's "rubbish" is another's "must see"!
I love them but dislike chat shows so I don't watch it.
Love the Bake Off though and I will pelt anyone who disagrees with Ian Watters' binned cake!
I don't watch it because I don't care for Sue Perkins - she likes the limelight a bit too much. I do like Mel though.
I think Sue is basically insecure and I like that vulnerability. They work so well together. Always have.
A rubbish programme., all too O T T.
nope, I don't like Mel.

My sentiments exactly, maggie!
Recorded it when Judge Rinder was on as I love him, BUT couldn't watch more than five minutes as Mel and Sue (especially Sue) just try too hard to be funny - it doesn't work imo.
I have just watched (not by choice) todays offering and have discovered that the series is subtitled:
'How to read an autocue badly and still succeed spectacularly in not being funny or interesting.
Thankfully, I fell asleep to be woken by the sound of applause which surprised me until I realised that the studio audience was actually applauding the fact that the show was finished and the ordeal over.

Would I watch again?

Pass the hemlock.....
I agree with most other people here - I like them both separately, especially Sue Perkins, and together on Bake Off they are amusing, but I managed about 10mins of their chat show, then changed channel - it all seemed so forced.
Can't stand the programme.
I quite like their repartee with their 'guests' who seem to be up for it.
Have avoided it they are not chat show hosts spoiled Great British Bakeoff as well!
