It got wierd, then it got wierder, then it left us thinking, that is really wierd.
what episode?, I have the series on DVD
Loft, the zen guy who found the little kid's dog, turned out to have been in a wheelchair on the flight having not had the use of his legs for 4 years. He woke up after the crash able to walk. He had a case of knives, went out on a boar hunting trip, mysteriously survived an attack by the big invisible monster and caught a boar. Meanwhile the doctor has started seeing a strange man in a suit in the distance who disappears when he looks again. They have all now run out of food so need to hunt and fish. They set the fuselage on fire to burn the bodies, which were going off and attracting scavengers (animals not survivors). There was also a hint that the tail end of the plane might have crashed somewhere with survivors. Apart from that there was the usual bickering, fighting, heroism, selfishness, and unwillingess to share the last packet of peanuts that has characterised the first three episodes.
It is repeated on the weekend I thought?  On channel 4?
Yes, repeated on Channel 4 on Sunday, on E4 over and over, and just in case you missed it the 12 times they showed it, it's probably repeated on E4+1 just for good measure.
incidentally, does anyone sit there watching and think jeepers this is slow, and then realise that you have to watch another 20-odd episodes to see what happens... not sure I can commit to that much couch-potato time...

Don't hold your breath Lost is a huge hit in the US. They reckon they have enough plot lines for eight thas 8 series.

Personaly I reckon they are already dead and they are in Purgurtory or hell. Hence being able to walk,  seing his dead dad etc

If you ever miss it again, go to the website at www.channel4.com/lost and there's an episode guide. Lots of other cool stuff on there too.
