Ok isn't good enough, royfromaus. This is the World Cup quarter-final, not some Sunday Pub League knockabout. He was far too lenient in those last 15 minutes of the first half. So much so that some players thought it ok (that word again) to carry on offending to such an extent that, for me at least, it spoiled the first 20/30 minutes of the 2nd half. Then, to put the tin hat on it, his booking of Rodriguez was totally laughable considering some of the treatment he had endured. I really do hope he does not get to officiate at any more games in this tournament.
