Just watched 'Prizzis Honor' the chap who plays the Don - his voice is exactly the same as Papa Lazarou's from L.O.G  -anyone know if the L.O.G team did this intentionally?

Apparently Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton used to share a flat, and the voice of Papa Lazarou was based on their landlord who would phone up but always want to speak to Steve and not Reece - ala "Ello Steeeeve?" "No, it's Reece" "I wan to speeek to Steeeeve"

Scary.

So as far as I know, only based on the scary ex-landlord.
