Programme has just finished. Anybody seen it. What is your opinion.

Mine - I am sad that EU has opened the doors to many scroungers whilst good people here have worked all their lives, paid their taxes etc and still have difficulty getting benefits.

sandy, I don't think that there was a benefit system here 130 years ago.
Svejk, // I really cant understand why some people on here continually try to defend the indefensible.//

I didn't see the programme but just want to say - neither can I.
I was incensed by this programme

The jews after the war were called I think "displaced people" - hope I got that right. But they worked very hard - when you see them being interviewed re the Holocaust etc - they come across wealthy and of course as I have said they worked hard.

When the guy called Ion said if he didn't get benefits he had no qualms in saying he would steal. Stealing is part of their culture and they do not have guilt over it. Enuff said.
Beats me how we afford these handouts and where will it end......somethings gotta give or we go broke

why should I pay taxes to keep some prolific breeder in the manner to which I would like to be accustomed.
///Methinks that opening the borders has given us the same perceived "problem" which the Nazi party faced.///

You cant equate the 'plight' of people whose life on benefits is less lucrative in their own countries with the victims of the holocaust. And to compare people who have real concerns about mass immigration with Nazis is not just ridiculous but, also, rather offensive.

^botox. ;D.
methyl, // Methinks that opening the borders has given us the same perceived "problem" which the Nazi party faced. //

Jewish people have lived in Germany for over a thousand years. The German victims of the holocaust were not new immigrants – they were Germans.
No wonder this country has gone to rack and ruin, if I were 30 years younger I'd be emigrating.
If Enoch Powell was alive he'd turn in his grave (Irish quote)
Didn't watch this as I suspected I'd end up throwing something at TV and looks like I was right !! I thought Cameron was going to get tough on immigration !
i didnt watch it because i know i would have thrown something at the tv! and being a non scrounging Brit i couldnt afford a new one as i dont claim any benefits as i work for a living . why oh why is this idiot in charge of country letting all these scroungers into our country, they dont do this in other countries. Britain is no longer great it is a dumping ground for other countries rubbish
Maybe we should all write to him and demand an explanation !
that guy that openly admits to stealing should have been in handcuffs sat between two coppers at a bus station with a one way ticket back home within an hour of the programme being aired, and the rest of them not far behind.

It was worth saying twice ^^^^ Svejk!
I know where the tax has gone now that me and all my family have paid all these years. We have always worked for every penny weve had.
How can they allow this to happen? No wonder this country is in a state. We will be like a third world soon the way we are going. They should not allow us to be used as a dumping ground for people to use all our services for free. This programme made me very cross.
Rant over.
Isn't the main issue our generous benefits system rather than the free movement of EU citizens? If we offer a free health service and say we'll pay you more money if you have more children then it's not surprising that those who live here already and don't want to work will happily stay and those that want to come here and take the money on offer will do so.
Unless we are prepared to be far less 'generous' with benefits and tell everyone- whether they've lived here all their life or are considering coming- that you can only get benefits after you've paid in for so many years then I can't see how we can do much about it.
