What do you make of it?

Not much. It says at the altitude she was travelling she couldn't have seen a plane at sea level.
She could have seen it (if it was in daylight). I remember when there was a case of a crew member looking out of the window of an aircraft half way across the Atlantic and seeing a ship on fire and the pilot was able to raise the alarm about it.
I'm sure there was also the case of a flight attendant seeing a survival dinghy as she flew over the Atlantic and the occupants were rescued.
Why couldn't the Pilot or Co-Pilot see it,surely they would have a better view, also how come she was the only one to see it?

The pilots can`t see down under the aircraft from looking forwards and they would have to crane their necks a bit and lean across to look right down from the side windows as their seats are a bit further away.
I'm with fender62.

If we look at all the evidence so far, the only explanation that makes sense is aliens.

And this feels like the beginning of a Hollywood horror movie where we're all trying to find a rational explanation to something we can't understand.

I'm a little bit scared.
Seems reasonable given the time & position. Why is there no search?
I would not be surprised if the current search far soth of Malaysia is based a false sighting. It is based on a grainy satellite image, and was sighted 180 degrees in the opposite direction to which the plane was last seen heading.

I would not be surprised if this woman is telling the truth and that they are currently searching the wrong area. When I have been on a plane and it is at cruising height, I have seen boats on the sea, so it seems plausable she may have seen wreckage.
Seems as good a sighting as any, I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss it. It would make more sense than it being out in the middle of nowhere miles away from any thing. I just hope for the families sakes that it is found so that they can get some sort of peace eventually.
Given the length of time they've been searching, any supposed sighting would have to be deemed credible.

As I type, a Sky News alert has been posted on my iphone that the Chinese have received new satellite imagery of a large object in the Southern Indian Ocean that measures some 30 metres.
Chinese covering the Andaman sea. Hope theyre lucky and find live souls.
