Haha, I saw this on FB a couple of days ago. I wonder how much health insurance costs in the States, and I understand (if Grey's Anatomy is to be believed) that not everything is covered.

I think Americans must dread a chronic illness in the family. It could bankrupt them.
I thought Obama had put in a health care programme similar to the NHS. Or am I wrong about that?

I think the Republican opposition watered the bill down and then the computer system to be used wasn't up to the job.
It has often been debated the per centage of USA citizens that hold a passport that entitles them to travel outside the US and Canada but 35% seems to be a solid statistic, compared to 71% of the UK.
That is still a great number of Americans but I doubt there is much health tourism from the USA, especially in the UK. Americans are very sneery about the NHS and don't rate it at all.
