but this isn't directly about the content of adverts, just a rant about how many ad breaks there have been over the Christmas programmes. Seems more than ever before and on for longer.

Thank goodness - they have been the only thing worth watching....

I don't think they have been any more frequent than usual, just more rubbish in between them on the commercial channels.

I can't believe people really want to go out on Boxing day and buy furniture!

I would, if I was going to save £300 on something I wanted to buy anyway.

I expected a quite journey to the hospital today but the roads were heaving, whether the drivers were shopping I will never know, or care for that matter.
