I have scanned many photos before but am having difficulties today. The photo is oblong and I have put it into the scanner the right way up.

However, it is scanning at 90 degrees. There seems to be no way to turn it. What is wrong?

Your suggestions appreciated.

Did you try to Right Click on it, and it should give you the option to rotate it clockwise or anticlockwise

I have just tried that, at your suggestion, but it doesn't give me that option. Thank you, anyway.
Maybe it is turning it so that it will fit on an A4 page??
Will the original picture fit an A4 page sideways???
Can you use the picture viewer to rotate the scan? I can do it in Windows Vista and it saves the new orientation. Or, load the pic into Paint and do it through there. Load up the pic, then go to Image and then Flip/Rotate
