I agree. Elton John is a British icon (and there aren`t many of those these days) I`m sorry I haven`t recorded the programme.

I was a teenager when EJ started to make good,how life has changed!

I can remember him in the 70's with them zoom glasses. My favourite song of his has always been Goodbye yellow brick road.
