A nice update for you - sick brother called up with his girlfriend today and brought me a present for all I have done for him - couldn't believe it - think I may frame the present. lol

It's good to hear he's on the road to recovery and has remembered to thank you for the help you've given him. It sounds too that he's in better spirits. I think you were saying he was a bit grumpy. Being in hospital and worrying about your health could get the best of us down.

it does indeed Sandy - cos it has been years since he has been up - all of my family are not very good visitors to each other - but we understand that.

thanks mamy - he did complain I put 8 pillows on his bed - I knew he needed it to raise him up so he can breathe. Perhaps it was a way to say goodbye - my sister was also here so that was nice too - she has been good to him and his sons in her own way - hers and mine are different - no matter. He does know his time is up. I always think one is prepared for births, baptisms, communions, confirmation but so difficult to accept death which is inevitable for us all. God I am morbid now.
