I wanted to watch it but the ads scared the bejesus out of me so I haven't been brave enough to put it on! :(

On Ch4+1 now and yes has subtitles.

I had to watch it twice last week...the subtitles put me off. But I got thou roughly absorbed in it. Very dark and brooding. A reviewer called it very French...different from how we or American TV would do it.

Its not 'jump out of your skin scary...its psychological also...and almost understated. I didn't want to read subtitles...but kept glancing at the screen...and slowly got caught up in it.

I am used to having subtitles on so that didn't bother me. It's the different timescales I am puzzled about as I thought they all died at the same time but obviously not!

It is pretty creepy, especially the little boy Victor, and I agree that the time scales are confusing, its now got me hooked.

Headwreck, I missed episode 1, but it's on Youtube and the subtitles are clear and easy to follow (run it back if you miss some). Looks like the start of a very good series.

Head wreck...give it a chance-watch again on 4OD. That's what I did with the first episode. And only a few of the commercials are in French...that's just something C4 is doing to make it all more atmospheric I suppose.

i love it, seriously weird, and must admit some parts are pretty awful, the stabbings got me, those of the girls in the subway, i am beginning to wonder if they aren't all dead, having been swamped by the dam bursting...
