My hubby and I have discovered a shared love of walking in the country up hill and down dale. I have a couple of walking poles which I love - worried about falling over in my old age - hubby carries the rucksack. We don't take a lot of stuff out with us - water, snack etc but the bag makes him sooooooooo sweaty! Really wet!!!!!

What do we do? Can you buy a bag which has some sort of moisture-stopping thing or something to put on the bag we've got? Have looked on the net but can't find an answer so any suggestions great fully accepted and don't say "why don't you carry the bag?" as it makes me very wet & sweaty too!

A 35lt Berghause with freeflow back might be worth looking at
Maybe a cotton over-"shoulder bag would be better, with long strap to go over head. If he puts coat over the top, it won't swing around either. That's what i take. Great hobby :-)

Brilliant advice guys thanks I will look into the berghaus. Trouble is can you try before you buy, don't suppose so! We LOVE walking, keeping us fit, out in the fresh air and glorious countryside plus, there's usually a pub involved!
