can anyone please recommend a simple book to help me revive my long-lost keyboard skill.
Am 90 and need something to fill the lonely hours since my wife has had to move into a nursing home.
Thanks all

Jacjlee, I did a search and found so many available. Not sure where you'd like to start so perhaps you could click on a suitable link and see if it's might be to your liking. http://tinyurl.com/c2hdxte
I guess the fact that it's in the music section is a bit of a giveaway, sorry.....

Thanks Society - spoilt for choice!
Will look for something very basic - have high hopes to play just a simple song.

:) have a good night.
This book might be useful; its progressive so as it all comes flooding back, you can move on to the next level.

Hoping for a seat at the concert too!
I find the 'Start' and 'Restart' series of books quite good as they don't waste too much time on the music reading. Also 'It's never too late to play piano', by Pam Wedgewood, is worth a look. I've been using the singing book from the same series and both my teachers are really impressed with it. The songs and exercises aren't too childish.
